*I LOVE CHARITY*
In the course of life, I have been hearing and listening to several statements about love. Some say love is wicked, good everything and so on, but I personally didn't believe this particular statement *to fall in love*, because I saw love to be just an everyday activity until *CHARITY* showed up in my life. I now believe one can really love deeply from the normal love I used to know in mind and therefore today I confess that *I Love Charity*. Let me tell you that one of the reasons why my pen name is *The Antidote* is because of Charity. You are asking questions as to what is the make up of Charity that makes me to openly write about my love for *"Her"*.
In the first place, Charity in general is showing an attitude of kindness and understanding towards others. I will leave you to ponder over this word in the definition *attitude*. Humanity as I have always mentioned has been established on coexistence of me and you and we need each other for survival. One can be an antidote in Charity through our attitudes towards each other. Being kind to people and understanding the nature and status of someone irrespective of the person is a form of engaging in Charity as defined above. Showing love, caring about someone, being obedient, serving people around us wholeheartedly and all different moral attitudes can be used to express an act of Charity.
More so, benevolence to others less fortunate than ourselves, thus providing of goods (material things ) or money to those in need is Charity and I love Charity. In our Akan society, there is a proverb that goes like *all the fingers are not equal*, and this shows all people are not of the same in terms of finance and wealth. Everyone knows his or her "pocket" and thus one can truly identity that in terms of finance and wealth one has more than another. Because of this, the people who are less privileged need you and I to be *an antidote* in the areas that they are lacking. We can buy goods for those in need and give some money to such people around us in our environment. With this act the world is a better place for all humanity.
Do you know that volunteering in itself is a form of Charity? If you didn't know, then The Antidote believes it is. We all have acquired different skills and professions and through these varieties of professionalism one can show his or her *Love for Charity*. I wouldn't talk much about this for now because it is a topic for another day. But I will acknowledge Mr. Spencer Kwabena Boateng Mensah, an international journalist of TV3 in Ghana who is using his profession to do Charity. I know for now you know what Charity is made up of and you will join the *The Antidote* to love 😍 Charity together in all aspects of life.
Remember - you only have one life and one chance. Make the most of it. Stop defeating yourself, stop limiting yourself. Create all the success you want and deserve in life. There is more to come, stay blessed and don't stop reading and sharing .
